Sinclair to Amend and Extend Bank Credit Agreement

BALTIMORE, June 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. ("Sinclair" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: SBGI) announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sinclair Television Group, Inc. ("STG"), intends to amend certain terms and extend the maturity date of certain loans and commitments under its existing bank credit facility.

Sinclair is seeking to extend the maturity date of its revolving credit facility and term A loans ("the Loans") from April 9, 2018 to July 31, 2021. In connection with the extension, Sinclair is also seeking to add additional operating flexibility, including a reduction in certain pricing terms related to the Loans based on satisfying certain covenant ratios.
