Here are some of the specials included in this year's LA SEMANA DEL TIBURÓN:

EL GRAN MAKO (Monster Mako): Along the Gulf of Mexico a series of large Mako sharks have been spotted, one in particular said to be more than 15 feet long. A group of marine biologists travel to the area to reveal the mysteries of their unseen world, but they are so fast that just spotting one is almost an impossible feat.

TIBURONES EN LA COSTA (Shark Trek): Greg Skomal and the SharkCam team head to Florida, the shark attack capitol of the world, to investigate the invasion of massive sharks along the state's coastline.

LA ISLA DEL GRAN TIBURÓN BLANCO (Island of the Mega Shark): The quest to photograph the largest great white shark continues as experts Andy Casagrande and Jeff Kurr join forces with Dickie Chivell at Guadalupe Island, Mexico. Theories suggest these mega sharks may come to feed and mate at this great white hot spot.

TIBURÓN DE LA SELVA (Jungle Shark): Marine biologist Dr. Graig O'Connell and cameraman Andy Casagrande travel to the Serena River in the jungles of Costa Rica to investigate reports of bull sharks and see how these unusual predators coexist with the enormous crocodiles that call the jungle river home.
