The Strumbellas celebrate their Album Release with Glassnote Records on May 3 at The Box

NEW YORK, May 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Strumbellas' breakout single "Spirits" has rocketed to No. 2 on Billboard's Rock Airplay chart, and tallied more than 4.5 million views on YouTube for its cathartic music video depicting a surreal New Orleans funeral procession. MAC Presents helped bring the band's vision to life with a packed, intimate concert celebrating the Canadian band's debut US album HOPE at New York's The Box on Tuesday May 3. The hour-long event culminated in an epic finale for "Spirits," which combined surreal elements of The Box's troupe of cabaret performers (an acrobatic aerialist, Day of the Dead-inspired ghosts) with costumed performers from the music video (a fish in a raincoat, a flame thrower, a woman draped in gold on stilts).
