The Surfrider Foundation is the largest network of coastal defenders in the world, supported at the national level with policy, legal and science experts. Two Coasts: One Ocean is the annual bicoastal event that celebrates our accomplishments and the people who make that work possible while raising funds to sustain this effort. The events unite Surfrider's national mission in local communities from coast to coast.

Huka Entertainment, producers of large-scale destination music festivals like Pemberton Music Festival at the base of Mt. Currie in British Columbia and Tortuga Music Festival on the beaches of Fort Lauderdale, FL, is committed to preserving coastal environments and leaving the places their festivals occupy cleaner than when they arrived. At this past Tortuga Music Festival, Huka and the local Surfrider chapter organized a well-attended beach cleanup on the day after the event load-out that went well beyond the festival site to clean neighboring beaches. Together with Surfrider, Huka commits to raise awareness for coastal issues and to encourage their community to protect and preserve the local environments.

The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world's oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains over 250,000 supporters, activists and members worldwide. Learn more at
