Hard-rockin' band - The Dead Daisies - Make Some Noise

PHILADELPHIA, May 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Their momentum is unstoppable. The Dead Daisies hit the ground running with their third album, Make Some Noise, due for release August 5 on SPV Records, preceded by first single, Long Way To Go, out June 17.

Recorded and produced by Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe) in Nashville in February/March this year, Make Some Noise includes two inspired classics revisited - The Who's Join Together and Credence Clearwater Revival's Fortunate Son - alongside ten originals guaranteed to become Daisies classics, and fans get to taste the new album live when The Dead Daisies take to the road. The tour kicks off in Europe, the UK and Ireland that'll see them play Woodstock in Poland, Wacken in Germany and all points between before, August 10, when they hook up with compadres KISS for another monster 19-date tour of the US and then onto Japan to play the Loud Park Festival.

Joining The Dead Daisies 2016 is Whitesnake/Dio uber lead guitarist Doug Aldrich, taking over from Daisies mainstay Richard Fortus, recalled to Guns N'Roses for reunion duties. "Musically I still listen to the old music," Aldrich admits, "because I don't want to lose my roots. I'm not one of those guys who's interested in following whatever is trendy. I'd rather stick to what I do best."

Aldrich played with Daisies bass player Marco Mendoza in Whitesnake so is more than pleased to be working with him once more, and they join frontman and Mötley Crüe/Ratt alumnus, John Corabi, drummer Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) and the man who put The Dead Daisies together just four years ago, rhythm guitarist David Lowy (Red Phoenix) in this incendiary 2016 lineup of the most remarkable hard-rock collective on the planet.

Last year saw The Dead Daisies play to more than 300,000 people as they toured their second album, Revolución, across the globe, kicking off with an historic visit to Cuba, through some of the biggest European rock festivals and on to touring with Whitesnake and Kiss.

"For me as a vocalist," Corabi enthuses, "this kind of high caliber line-up is an absolute dream come true."
