LOS ANGELES, May 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Alexander Jean, singer-songwriter duo featuring BC Jean and Mark Ballas, will embark on their first U.S. national tour titled "Head High," sponsored by Nicorette® and NicoDerm® CQ®. The "Head High" title for the tour comes from the first song Mark and BC wrote together, which led to the creation of Alexander Jean. The lyric embodies strength, motivation and inspiration to never give up throughout life's ups and downs. In conjunction with Alexander Jean's debut EP release, also titled "Head High" and due on June 3, the tour kicks off on June 17 in Santa Ana, California, and will run through July 20, concluding in San Francisco, California. Alexander Jean's current single, "Thief," recently hit #5 on iTunes' Singer/Songwriter chart, following up their debut single, "Roses And Violets," which hit #1 on iTunes' Singer/Songwriter chart; and #6 on iTunes' Overall Chart. The duo, recently named "KIIS FM Next Up Artist of the Week," made their South By Southwest (SXSW) debut this year, and also performed at BMI's annual "Snow Ball" event at Sundance. Alexander Jean has also been chosen to perform at the 3(rd) Annual L.A. GRAMMY Showcase to be held May 17 at The Fonda Theatre.

Alexander Jean has performed live on the West Coast in Los Angeles to sold out audiences at The Viper Room, Hotel Café, Room 5 and No Name; in San Francisco at Feinstein's at The Nikko; and in San Diego at the House of Blues.
