OTTAWA, April 27, 2016 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) and the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) on May 2, 2016, in Toronto, Ontario, for a dynamic Youth edition to the Discoverability Summit.
The event will feature discussions with millennials - the most digitally connected demographic in history - on how they consume and discover content. The ideas and strategies generated from the Youth Summit will not only help experts and leaders better understand this generation, but directly be embedded into the program for the Discoverability Summit, which will take place May 10-11, 2016.
Jean-Pierre Blais, Chairman and CEO of the CRTC and Claude Joli-Coeur, Government Film Commissioner and Chairperson of the NFB, are pleased to welcome the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, as a guest of honour to this event that will foster conversations with our youth - our future leaders of tomorrow.

The keynote speakers and expert participants will be available for interviews on-site from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
