Astro 12's "Most Beautiful Sakura Girl" Voted for by Otaku Boys

TOKYO, April 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- A set of photos taken in Tokyo of Chinese girl group Astro12 were recently uploaded to 2CH by some fans. The girls were dressed in school uniforms with the beautiful cherry blossom, or 'sakura', in the background.

The photos caused a lot of discussions among otaku boys. Group member Jiang Chengcheng who has sweet appearance and lovely dimple was praised as the most beautiful sakura girl by many otaku boys.

The photos attracted a lot of attention, with many people adding comments such as "really the most beautiful sakura girl", "dimple and sakura match well, she deserves to be called the most beautiful young girl with dimple", "she is a beautiful young girl of mainland type in conformity with Asian beauty standards" and so on.

In the photos Astro12 members are full of youthful energy and meet mainstream conceptions of beauty in Chinese, Japanese and Korean culture. The girls appear to be filled with positive energy, seemingly a new generation of icons are rising.

Astro 12 were selected from more than 1,000 girls and went to Tokyo for training in March. They are not only beautiful but also talented, and each of them is distinctive. The group is expected to debut in China in June or July, at present they are receiving professional training and recording songs.
