Andrew Zimmern Announces New Production Company, Intuitive Content

The company's first series is set to premiere on Travel Channel in 2016

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Andrew Zimmern, co-creator, co-executive producer and host of the "Bizarre Foods" franchise, has embarked on a new adventure. Earlier this year, Zimmern launched Intuitive Content, a full-service production company dedicated to developing and producing original television series, broadcast specials, branded content series for both web and cable, and other digital content. Travel Channel green-lit the team's first series, "Meter's Running" (8 x 60 minute episodes).

Beyond television, Intuitive Content is working with clients on branded entertainment, including a partnership with Renaissance Hotels to create a digital series around The Navigators Table, exclusive behind-the-scenes access to today's most admired chefs, writers and personalities.

O'Brien has also collaborated with ad agencies including 72andSunny, Ogilvy & Mather, Leo Burnett, and Young & Rubicam. As VP of Production for Sharp Entertainment he helped that company grow their slate from 9 to 30 shows per year. Alongside O'Brien is Dusti Kugler, vice president of operations. She previously helmed Food Works, Inc., Zimmern's branded content development group.
