Night for Rights After Party Entertainment
TORONTO, Sept. 3, 2015 /CNW/ - Ready to rock and roll? Journalists for Human Rights (JHR) has a superb line-up of entertainment for the Night for Rights After Party. The party kicks off at 8:30pm on October 1, 2015 at the Arcadian Loft in Toronto.
The Party includes live performances from South Sudan's Emmanual Jal, Toronto's Indie-Pop group Running Red Lights, and in-house media newzapalooza bands. The After Party follows Night for Rights' dinner at the Arcadian Court from 6-9pm. Last year Night for Rights raised more than $100,000 for human rights journalism programming. This year, JHR targets raising $160,000.
When media puts a spotlight on human rights, positive change happens. When human rights are protected, people's lives get better. Proceeds from tickets and donations received at Night for Rights goes to support JHR's innovative media development projects around the world. After Party tickets can be purchased at: night4rights.com.
