Maddox Club on a Friday night may still look the same, but under the surface it is
moving in a very different direction.

With the summer season of music festivals and international party-hopping coming to an
end, Maddox Club in Mayfair is thrilled to announce the launch of their new Friday night
tech/deep house event; Undercurrent. The concept of Undercurrent was initially conceived
in response to the annual exodus of their clientele, to the house music capital of the
world, Ibiza.

Maddox Club has always been known for embracing house music. Now however, with the
launch of Undercurrent, Mayfair's longest standing private members club is set to
seriously shake up Friday nights, with an alternative, edgy and more underground musical
offering.



The aim of Undercurrent is to provide a home for tech and deep house in Mayfair. It
will be a unique platform where talented artists can perform to their fans in a luxurious,
intimate and private nightclub environment.



Throughout the course of September Undercurrent will feature artists belonging to
world-renowned music collective Diynamic, founded by award-winning DJ and producer,
Solomun. The Diynamic label has over 80 releases under their belt and 14 extraordinarily
talented artists in their crew. It is with great pleasure that Maddox Club welcomes them
to London.



About Maddox Club - 'Providing a Boutique Sanctuary In Which to Party Since 2007'



Since opening in 2007, Maddox Private Members Club has offered London a boutique
sanctuary in which to party. It is one of the only private members clubs which has a DJ
booth within a restaurant, successfully creating a venue, where partying and dining
co-exist under one roof. Maddox Club founder, Fred Moss, ensures the smooth running and
constant development of Maddox Club and is key to providing members with the very best
service on every level.



The Undercurrent September Line-Up:



September 4th: Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, aka Adriatique, will take to decks
for the launch of Undercurrent at Maddox Club. Usually found in Pacha, Beach House or DC10
in Ibiza, these two are going to jumpstart Undercurrent with their unique blend of US and
Detroit Techno and deep melodic, European techno.



September 11th: Diynamic superwoman, Magdalena, will be headlining with her distinct
deep house/tech beats. Having evolved from running EGO nightclub in Hamburg, Magdalena now
finds herself behind the decks in venues such as Weekend and Watergate in Berlin or Pacha,
Destino and Beachouse in Ibiza, as well as hosting the very popular EGO AIR, a daytime
open air party series in Hamburg.



September 18th: Luca and Elia, otherwise known as Undercatt are inspired by modern
techno. These two Italian born Diynamic artists are in uenced by melodic and emotional
elements and produce atmospheric songs such as those on their newly released 'Duologue
EP.'



September 25th: The appearance of H.O.S.H. on the last Friday of September rounds up
the first month's mammoth Maddox Club line-up. As one of the first members of the Diynamic
collective, Holger Behn's (aka H.O.S.H.) contribution to the labels success is significant
and his belief in 'working together for the furtherment of electronic music' continues to
drive them from strength-to-strength. His production work includes the 'Forever Young'
series, a collection of releases which has been highly appreciated by the press and
achieved chart-topping Beatport sales.
