Tribune Media Company Announces Resignation of Chief Financial Officer Steven Berns

Chandler Bigelow Appointed Interim CFO

NEW YORK, Aug. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tribune Media Company (NYSE:TRCO) today announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Steven Berns, has resigned effective August 11, 2015, to accept the position of CFO at another public company. Tribune Media has appointed Chandler Bigelow, its current Chief Strategies & Operations Officer as interim CFO, effective August 12, 2015. The company has initiated an external search for a full time successor as CFO.

Bigelow previously served as CFO from 2008 to 2013, and is a 17-year veteran of the company. He will continue to serve in his current role.

Berns will remain available to Tribune Media to facilitate a smooth transition of duties, and his resignation does not reflect any dispute or disagreement with the company.

As previously announced, the company will report its financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2015, before the market opens on Thursday, August 13, 2015.
