The Big Bang Dueling Piano Bar Opening in the Cleveland Flats

CLEVELAND, July 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Big Bang dueling piano bar is excited to announce the opening of its second Ohio location in downtown Cleveland. The lively entertainment destination will feature live dueling pianos Tuesday through Saturday, and is scheduled to open early August 2015.

The Big Bang will be one of the first businesses opening in Phase II of the exciting new Flats East Bank development. The high-profile project has had Cleveland buzzing about a revitalization of the Flats, an area long recognized as being Cleveland's most popular entertainment and nightlife district.

"This is major progress for the downtown area, and the city of Cleveland," says Big Bang owner Sam Leatherwood. "I've talked to so many people who have great memories of good times in the Flats. The Big Bang is not your average piano bar. This place will come to life every night with high-energy entertainment that will have audiences singing, dancing and laughing all night long! The dueling pianos concept features two grand pianos on stage played by a rotating group of entertainers who combine audience song requests with comedy and audience participation to create a truly unique entertainment experience. Entertainers also take turns on drums, bass and guitar throughout the night. Audiences can expect to hear almost every genre of music from Classic Rock and Country to today's hits, 80s classics and 90s favorites.

The Big Bang Cleveland will feature a full-service bar and craft small-plates menu with happy hour and drink specials nightly, as well as party packages for celebrations such as birthdays, graduations, bachelorette parties and more. The Big Bang will also be available as a private event space for corporate groups and special events.

"I am wildly excited about being back in Cleveland to work on this monumental development in the Flats East Bank," says owner Sam Leatherwood. Many will remember Leatherwood from the early 90s when he was the Entertainment Director of the popular dueling piano bar in the Powerhouse on the Flats West Bank.

The Big Bang opened their first Ohio location in 2009 in Columbus' Arena District. With locations in Nashville, Murfreesboro, TN and Columbus, OH, Cleveland is the fourth location for The Big Bang. The Big Bang Cleveland will be located at 1163 Front Avenue, Cleveland, 44113.
