31 Education Influencers, Connected Educators, and Podcasters Opt in to BAM Radio Network's New Service

LOS ANGELES, June 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, BAM Radio Network (BRN), the all-education talk radio network, announced the launch of three new support services for education influencers, connected educators, and podcasters. The first is SyndicatED, a brand management practice for high-profile educators with strong demand for their insights and related services. SyndicatED offers professional support to help education influencers manage the increasing commercial interest in their work. This week BRN announced that high-profile educators and influencers Vicki Davis and Angela Maiers signed exclusive agreements with SyndicatED to represent their interests and selected social media properties.

"The education world is evolving rapidly and connected educators are being bombarded daily with all sorts of propositions, proposals, and requests. There is clearly a need to add skilled members to my team to help me manage these emerging opportunities in ways that maximize the impact and value of my work. I'm very excited about this," said Angela Maiers.

BRN also announced the launch of EdVoice Hosts, a program that matches creators of education apps, tools, and resources with education influencers who love them. The program allows educators who host popular radio shows on BAM Radio Network to get high-quality sponsors for their programs. Thirty-one hosts have signed up for the program in the first week.

"We are very excited about the initial interest in the EdVoice Hosts program. Sustaining a radio show or podcast is a challenge. Being part of this sort of cooperative effort opens all sorts of new possibilities for every host," said Errol St. Clair Smith, executive producer of BAM Radio Network. "As the interest in education podcasts continues to expand, we expect to see more of these cooperatives, as podcasters operating outside of a network will increasingly be disadvantaged."

The third new initiative announced this week is the Certified Edcaster program. The Edcaster Certification is for the growing class of education professionals who are committed to building their own media platform to support a consulting practice, speaking career, or a larger mission. The Edcaster program is a six-week virtual training program taught by social media titans Vicki Davis, Angela Maiers and four-time Emmy-winning broadcaster Nelson Davis. The training covers the essential information one needs to be a profitable, world-class education media entrepreneur.

"In my ten years of blogging and two and a half years as an education talk radio host, I've learned many nuanced best practices that can move the needle in big ways. I've had the opportunity to be mentored by the best and I'm excited to connect and work with passionate people who want to go to the next level," said Vicki Davis, educator, speaker, and trainer.
