Celebrated Webseries "The Residuals" to Launch on BroadwayWorld for Second Season

Second Iteration of Acclaimed Webseries to Feature Horatio Sanz, Michael Torpey and Jenna Leigh Green

NEW YORK, June 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Residuals, a leading webseries about the complexities of commercial auditions, today announced the debut of their second season of the acclaimed webseries of the same name. Created by and starring husband-and-wife team Michael Paul Smith and Gillian Pensavalle, The Residuals is inspired by their experiences as actors auditioning for commercials in New York City. The series will air on BroadwayWorld.com, the largest theatre and live entertainment web site in the world, joining a number of exclusive and popular web series.

In The Residuals, Smith stars as aspiring actor Pete Hamilton, with Pensavalle cast as a softhearted casting associate named Valerie. The principal cast also includes Nick Costa as Pete's character-actor roommate, Kelly Warne as a high-strung actress who is self-conscious about her age, Mark Gessner as a powerful casting director with a short fuse, and James Tabeek as his loyal-to-a-fault assistant.
