Bruce Prentice, World Baseball Hall of Fame President, is excited, " for the second time, 12 great ball players will be selected, bringing the total elected to the WBHF, to 24". In succeeding years, says Prentice, " a maximum of 6 will be named to the World Baseball Hall of Fame, keeping the hall's doors open to only those deserving to be recognised."
