Immigration Issue Spotlights Capitol Hill Media Marathon April 15th and 16th
50 Radio Hosts, Members of Congress, Law Enforcement to Debate Obama Policies
WASHINGTON, April 7, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The nation's largest annual immigration-media event, Hold Their Feet to the Fire2015, takes place April 15 and 16 at the Phoenix Park Hotel, 520 North Capitol Street, NW in Washington D.C. Fifty radio hosts from across the country will broadcast their shows from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day live from the event while interviewing members of Congress, police officials, state lawmakers, experts, journalists, activists and citizens directly affected by the cost and harm of illegal immigration.

This year's event will focus on the aftermath of President Obama's amnesty and his continued abuse of executive power, the GOP's internal battle over how to tackle immigration and the ongoing border crisis with its implications for national security risks.
Formed in 2007 as a modest show of force to oppose the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill, the event has grown to become talk radio's largest annual collective gathering. Now in its ninth year, this "radio row" is the centerpiece of the medium's growing influence on public policy and the immigration debate in particular.
Bob Dane, the event manager and FAIR spokesman observes that, "politicians respect the town hall of talk radio. Hold Their Feet to the Fire speaks for millions of Americans who oppose amnesty for illegal aliens and the unconstitutional manner in which it was implemented."
FAIR is the nation's largest immigration public policy organization. FAIR fights to secure U.S. borders, stop illegal immigration, enhance national security and promote immigration reforms that help, not hinder, American interests.
Media is encouraged to attend but must be credentialed and check-in at the event registration desk. Permission has been granted by all attending talk hosts for camera coverage. Hosts and most of their interview guests are available for press interviews as well.
