Media Leaders series set to open and close BANFF again in 2015

BANFF, ALBERTA, April 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Banff World Media Festival is thrilled to announce that Jean-Pierre Blais, Chair of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), will be presenting the BANFF delegation with a keynote address on Sunday June 7(th), 2015.

In the fall of 2014, the CRTC held three big hearings on television (known as Let's Talk TV) and wholesale wireless and wireline services. Sure to be a highlight of the 2015 Festival, Mr. Blais will speak about where the CRTC is heading next and why the recently launched review of basic telecommunications services is important - not only for the Canadian content industry, but also for all sectors of the Canadian economy.
