They rocked the halls with students of Cascade High School in Cascade, Iowa, on Feb. 16, and Wayne County High School in Jesup, Ga., on Feb. 26. The schools won the concerts as grand prize winners of Celebrate My Drive, a unique and positive message-focused teen driver safety program powered by State Farm(®. )
Each of these schools also earned a $100,000 grant from State Farm, with 10 percent or more earmarked for teen driver safety programs for students.
"Usually, our fans have to come to us for a show," said Kimberly Perry. "But this time, we wanted to bring the music to some of our most loyal, young fans."
Celebrate My Drive is a program that celebrates with new drivers, instead of scaring them, to help them make positive choices and stay safe on the road. Research concludes a more supportive approach to teen driver safety, promoting positive actions, may best inspire safe driving practices among teens.
"Through Celebrate My Drive, State Farm is sharing the belief that safe driving is a lifelong commitment from the start," said Public Affairs Director Allison Bertsche. "We're bringing communities together to rally around young drivers and encourage them to make safe driving choices every time they're behind the wheel."
The Band Perry has been a champion of Celebrate My Drive since spring 2014, helping inspire more than 3,200 high schools across North America to share safety messages and engaging entire communities to reduce teen crashes and save lives. The top 100 schools that generated the most online safe driving commitments earned a cumulative $3.25 million in grants.
"Whenever we're on stage, we see our young fans and know they drove out to see us perform," said Neil Perry. "It's so important to us that they're getting to and from our shows safely."
"That's why we're so passionate about helping teens celebrate the freedom and responsibility of driving," continued Reid Perry.
The Band Perry also invited teens and high schools to participate by sharing Tweets, posts and videos, along with media interviews, throughout the program. More than 6.1 million online commitments to drive safely were made on behalf of Celebrate My Drive in 2014.

About The Band Perry:
One of the most dynamic acts in music today, Grammy® Award-winning and reigning ACM Vocal Group of the Year, The Band Perry has both achieved massive mainstream success and gained major critical acclaim since delivering their platinum self-titled debut. Introducing the sibling trio as a powerful new force on the country scene, 2010's The Band Perry offered up five hit singles, including the sextuple-platinum chart-topper "If I Die Young" and other platinum hits - the #1 "All Your Life" and "You Lie" - as well as "Hip to My Heart" and the gold-certified single "Postcard from Paris." For the band's gold-certified second album Pioneer, frontwoman Kimberly Perry and her younger brothers Reid and Neil delved deeper into an edgy, rock-and-roll-inspired sound while staying true to their Southern roots. Featuring the platinum #1 single "Better Dig Two" and the platinum #1 "DONE." (plus smash hits "Don't Let Me Be Lonely" and "Chainsaw"), Pioneer found The Band Perry widening their appeal and continuing to showcase their breathtaking three-part harmonies. The group kicked off their first headline tour - the WE ARE PIONEERS WORLD TOUR - in late 2013 and quickly established themselves as a global powerhouse, playing hundreds of venues from Seattle to Sweden.
