Three Family Product Startups Compete in National Dream Big America Pitch Competition

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Dream Big America (www.DreamBigAmerica.us), powered by Sprint (www.Sprint.com), revealed its second week of contestants on this morning's national radio show. The three companies that presented on the show this morning were all household, family products and included The Flipple Company, Aquaornament, and Bebe PODPants.

The spokesperson for each of these early-stage companies gave a two-minute pitch of their business concept to the national Dream Big America listening audience beginning at 9:10am ET. The Dream Big America show is broadcasted weekly on the Doug Stephan Good Day Show (www.DougStephan.com) and through a live audio stream on www.DreamBigAmerica.us. Audio recordings of the pitches can also be found on the Dream Big America website.

The Flipple Company (www.BabyFlipple.com), based in Galesburg, Illinois, was presented by owner Linda Lewis. The Flipple Company is a woman owned company that provides top quality products that parents will learn to trust, value and need. Lewis' first Flipple product is a special baby bottle nipple adapter that can be screwed on a water bottle and attached to any standard nipple.

Aqua-Ornament (www.Aquaornament.com) is an easy to install, easy to use, Christmas tree watering system. Aqua-Ornament is based in Springfield, Virginia, and was presented by the company's president, David Meyer.

Bebe PODPants (www.bebepodpants.com) is an infant clothing garment that offers busy parents a unique alternative to baby pants, socks and shoes. Tiffany Copon, the owner and inventor of Bebe PODPants, pitched the company this morning on Dream Big America. Bebe PODPants is based in Bowie, Maryland.

Following the show, listeners and supporters have the opportunity to vote for their favorite startup company by visiting the Dream Big America website, or by texting 'DBA' to 612-223-DREAM (612-223-7326). The voting period ends Wednesday, January 21(st )at 5pm Eastern Time. The startup that receives the highest number of votes will be announced at the beginning of next Friday's show, and will advance to the Finals Round on January 30(th )to compete against the other weekly winners of January's competition.

Last week's winner was Infant Innovators, presented by CEO Ervin Asomani. Infant Innovators creates a holder and warmer for a baby feeding bottle to afford hands-free attendance of an infant called The Hands-Free Bunny Bottle Holder.
