Doctors Launch Ad In Iowa Calling For Gruber Transparency On Obamacare, Will Target New Hampshire Next

"OUR PATIENTS FIRST" PAC PLANS CAMPAIGN TO EXPOSE OBAMA & HILLARY CLINTON HEALTH POLICY DISASTERS

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Dec. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Physician-directed Our Patients First Political Action Committee (OPF PAC), designed to highlight and reform the Obama-Clinton policies that compromise the quality of care doctors can provide patients, is launching its first web and television ads in Iowa calling for Congress to obtain the full truth from Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber during his testimony before the House Committee on Government and Oversight about his role in the deceptive and misleading ways Obamacare was presented to the nation.

The ad, entitled, "Stupid," highlights Gruber's on-tape repeated admissions that passage of Obamacare was reliant on the "stupidity" of the American voter. OPF PAC also plans to air radio ads in targeted congressional districts throughout the nation.

The ad can be viewed at www.OurPatientsFirstPAC.com.

Paid nearly $400,000 by the Obama Administration to author Obamacare, Gruber publicly endorsed likely presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's similar health care policy dubbed "HillaryCare."

"In his efforts to take over control of America's healthcare, President Obama demonized physicians by suggesting that decisions to amputate or perform tonsillectomies were based on monetary rather than patient considerations," said Dr. Jane Hughes, co-chair of OPF PAC. "Coupled with other lies used to pass the legislation, physicians across the country are now motivated to act. Timely access to quality care and our ability to properly care for our patients is being severely compromised with implementation of Obamacare."

Gruber's testimony is expected to shed light on the details of Administration and Congressional Democrat members and staff who enabled his admitted duplicity. The ad, following on the heels of radio ads opposing Mary Landrieu's support for Obamacare, urges Americans to call Congress to demand the truth and "replace Obamacare."

Dr. Hughes said airing ads in Iowa and New Hampshire will "help engage, educate and energize those casting the earliest votes in presidential caucuses and primaries."

The OPF PAC website states: "Obamacare has taken health care reform in the wrong direction, and patient care is becoming secondary to a growing bureaucracy and increasing regulation. The result is higher cost and lower quality care."
