With a Song in My Heart is comprised of 13 tracks. The album's title song is from Rodgers and Hart's musical, "Spring is Here." Other songs include "La Donna e Mobile," "Ave Maria," "Granada," "Salut Demeure Chaste et Pure," an aria from Kearns' starring role in the opera, Faust, the American folk favorite, "Shenandoah," the Broadway tune, "Younger than Springtime" from Rodgers and Hammerstein, the traditional Irish folk songs, "Kitty of Coleraine / Kitty My Love," and the beloved ballad, "Danny Boy."

The album, With a Song in My Heart, was arranged and orchestrated by Gavin Murphy and Eric Stern, with sound engineer Jonathan Allen of Abbey Road Studios. Musical accompaniment was provided by long-time accompanist Patrick Healy on piano and the Slovak Symphony Orchestra conducted by Allan Wilson.

Anthony Kearns first took the American television audience by storm in 1999 as the youngest member of The Irish Tenors. His solo career includes concerts, high-profile celebrity engagements, major television appearances, operas, and collaborations with some of the world's most renowned orchestras.
