In the US TV season to date, "How to Get Away with Murder" is the top rated drama premiere, drawing a massive 20.3 million-strong audience. The series also garnered critical acclaim, with America'sEntertainment Weekly magazine calling it "the most addictive new thriller on TV", while entertainment business magazineVariety lauded, "Viola Davis is such a commanding screen presence."
Premiering on 16 October and airing on Thursdays at 8.50pm is "Madam Secretary" which opened to more than 12 million viewers and was among the top 15 programs broadcast in the premiere week across all TV networks in the US. Debuting on Sunday, 19 October are comedic drama series "Jane The Virgin" and "Manhattan Love Story" to bring laughs to Sony Channel viewers. At8.50pm, "Jane The Virgin" starsGina Rodriguez ("Filly Brown") as the bubbly titular character, Jane, whose vow to save her virginity after marriage to detective is dashed when she is artificially inseminated by mistake. These fresh series will join a variety of popular returning programs on Sony Channel.
