Dream Big America Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

Three Premier Startups Compete For July Championship

KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dream Big America (www.DreamBigAmerica.us), powered by Sprint (www.Sprint.com), celebrates its one-year anniversary. The weekly radio show began in July of 2013 and features America's premier startups. Since its inception, Dream Big America has featured 117 startups, and has a pipeline of entrepreneurs ready to pitch on the show.

In collaboration with Show's sponsor, Sprint, Dream Big America is currently developing an online, interactive repository of resources for entrepreneurs. This new repository, called the Sprint Startup Zone, is part of a larger vision to create an active, online community for entrepreneurs.

Today, three startup finalists pitch at 9:10am Eastern Time on Doug Stephan's Good Day Show for their chance to secure the title of July Dream Big Champion. This month's competing finalists are iCitizen (www.iCitizen.com), Time To Cater (www.TimeToCater.com), and Baby Powder Wipes (www.Quantuminds.com).

This month's finalists each competed in a preliminary round of the Dream Big America competition earlier this month, winning their respective round by securing the highest number of votes. This morning they pitch on Doug Stephan's Good Day show, which is live streamed on the Dream Big America website (www.DreamBigAmerica.us). Voting is open until 11:59 ET on Wednesday, July 30. Fans, listeners, and supporters can vote for their favorite contestant on the Dream Big America website and by texting 'DBA' to 612-223-7326.
