Genevieve Cleary Sues Kevin Sanford And Michael Williams For Fraud

Genevieve Cleary Sues Kevin Sanford And Michael Williams For Fraud

--Fake Mega-Superstar Concerts at Center of Suit

NEW YORK, May 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Acclaimed art director, choreographer and producer Genevieve Cleary, owner of Belluscious Productions, announced today that she has filed a lawsuit against Kevin Sanford (Wireless First, Buddha Films, GTO Live) and Michael Williams (Musiek Media Group) ("Defendants"). In documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Cleary (Case No. LC101610) claims that Sanford and Williams conned her out of $89,000 when the two intentionally breached a contract to co-produce concerts the Defendants falsely claimed would feature mega-superstars Justin Bieber and Ne-Yo. Per the contract between the three, Cleary wired $89,000 to Sanford's Buddha Films' account to produce the agreed-upon concerts, instead the Defendants spent the money, and no concerts ever materialized.

Cleary, the creative/artistic director for the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Las Vegas and creative/artistic director for HQ Nightclub, Revel Nightlife, Atlantic City, agreed to invest $89,000 contingent upon various factors, to which Sanford and Williams failed to meet. Cleary is seeking the return of invested funds, damages, etc, for Sanford's and Williams' exploitative acts, which they conspired to commit--fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, conversion, misappropriation of funds and unjust enrichment.

Cleary is represented by nationally-recognized, litigation attorney Leron Rogers, who stated: "We made every effort to settle this matter amicably. Now that it appears that Kevin Sanford and Michael Williams have no intention of doing the right thing, we will move very aggressively against them."

Both Defendants have last known addresses in Los Angeles, Calif. Sanford, son of six-time Emmy Award-winning video engineer Mark Sanford, is a self-proclaimed, high-end event audio/technology expert with claimed credits that include the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Survivor and The MTV Music Awards. Williams is a former music executive and performer who boasts an early career, multi-million dollar contract with Island Records; and created Napa Valley's "BottleRock" music event.
