This year marks the first year that MomoCon will take place during Memorial Day Weekend in the city of Atlanta. "We're excited to be kicking off the summer this year during one of the biggest holiday weekends in the country," says Christopher Stuckey, MomoCon Chairman.

MomoCon promises to be bigger and better than ever this year, with an outstanding array of celebrity and industry guests in the animation and gaming industries, as well as 700 memorable hours of programming that include panels and workshops on costuming, culture, animation, and gaming. Attendees also have a chance to meet fellow fans and make lifelong friends through the cosplay costume contests, dance parties, sing-alongs, the Exhibitor Hall and Artist Alley, and much more.

This year, MomoCon is especially proud to host an exclusive Animaniacs reunion for the first time ever since the show went off the air in 1998. Voice actors Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell, and Tress MacNeille will reunite as Yakko, Wakko, and Dot Warner, respectively. Joining them will be voice actor legend Maurice LaMarch, who starred in Pinky and the Brain with Paulsen.

MomoCon also welcomes Dante Basco, popular for the character "Prince Zuko" in Nickelodeon's phenomenal hit, Avatar: The Last Airbender and "General Iroh" in The Legend of Korra. Mike Reiss, known as show-runner, writer, and producer for The Simpsons, as well as co-creator of animated series The Critic, will also be present at MomoCon.

What started off as an anime club at Georgia Tech 10 years ago has turned into one of the fastest-growing -- and most beloved -- fan conventions in the world. MomoCon Anime and Gaming Convention exceeded all expectations in 2013 and set a new attendance record of 12,200 people, growing by 42% over 2012. The organizers of the events are prepared for a repeat in growth for 2014.

For those interested in attending MomoCon 2014, memberships are on sale for only $45 for all 3 days at MomoCon.com.
