Mr. Singer, who hosts a financial radio program called "Prosper!", explores numerous investment and income opportunities on his radio broadcasts and tries to explain both the risk and the rewards of various opportunities to his audience. "Many of my listeners and all of my clients expect me to do the due diligence for them when it comes to analyzing potential investment opportunities", said Singer. In late 2010, one of the potential investment opportunities Singer started analyzing was a REIT sponsored by a company called American Realty Capital (ARC). As Singer continued performing due diligence on American Realty Capital in 2011, he liked what he saw. ARC was in the process of completing its first non- traded retail REIT which included a truly impressive portfolio of single tenant triple net retail properties with quality tenants such as PNC Bank, Walgreens and FEDEX. In addition, investors were enjoying very competitive tax favored yields. While performing due diligence, Singer not only spoke at length about the REIT with CEO Nicholas Schorsch, he also interviewed him on his radio show, to give his listeners valuable insight typically unavailable to the average retail investor. On Singer's show, Mr. Schorsch made the case for why the time was right to invest in commercial real estate and the opportunities available to retail investors. In March of 2012 the REIT went public and many of Singer's listeners enjoyed a substantial capital gain in addition to the ample interest payments they had been receiving each month. Singer continued to alert his listeners to ARC's subsequent offerings including ARC III and ARC IV which were subsequently acquired for a substantial profit by a public REIT called ARCP in 2013 and 2014 respectively. Moreover, ARC sponsored a health care REIT (HCT) which successfully went public in early April 2014.
Most recently in November of 2013, ARC completed its offering called the New York Recovery REIT (NYRT) which was designed to take advantage of opportunities to acquire distressed assets in NYC after the recent real estate correction. NYRT's public debut on April 15, 2014, represents ARC's fifth non-traded REIT that has netted a significant profit for investors in the last 3 years. "It's a very rewarding feeling to know that I helped so many of my listeners acquire investments that have not only produced high levels of steady tax favored income but substantial capital gains as well.", says Singer. "Both my listeners and I are very fortunate to have discovered American Realty Capital."
Mr. Singer's broadcasts air on weekdays at 2-3 PM on WSBR 740am in Boca Raton and on Saturdays at 5 PM on 610 WIOD in South Florida. He also is the owner of Singer Wealth Management, a full service money management firm in Boca Raton. Information about Keith Singer can be found at www.singerwealth.com
