Houston Astros Hit a Homer with ZapBoomBang in New Campaign



HOUSTON, April 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- This month, ZapBoomBang Studios, a full service state-of-the-art video and audio production, post-production and recording studio based in Houston, collaborated with the Houston Astros for the production of the Major League Baseball team's 2014 "More Than Just a Game" community outreach media campaign.

The "More Than Just a Game" campaign centers around the excitement and experience of attending a Houston Astros game as a true and dedicated fan. In the two television commercials and two radio commercials produced by ZapBoomBang, going to the stadium is about so much more than just supporting Houston's hometown team. The energy of the crowd and the joy of watching the game with friends and family are also center stage.

In the TV and radio spot "Hard Work," viewers are offered a behind the scenes look at the team's players preparing for a game. Their hard work leads up to all the action fans are used to enjoying at a typical Houston Astros game. The "Experience" spot, shot for TV and also adapted for radio, focuses on the personal experience of being an Astros fan, with a father and son enjoying a day at Minute Maid Park. ZapBoomBang developed scripts, edited existing Houston Astros footage, and shot new footage for these spots, as well as recorded all voiceover talent and mastered all final spots.
