Don Coleman, GlobalHue Chairman and CEO said, "We are truly excited to work with the Hip Hop Hall of Fame and plan to deliver best in class strategic leadership to enrich their multiple brand platforms. HHHOF showcases the importance and relevancy of a music genre that has helped shape the world."
HHHOF is a non-profit and chartered Museum and Educational Institution with a mission to preserve the history and legacy of hip hop music and culture, highlighting its impact on society and the world. The museum will be located in Midtown Manhattan and is scheduled to begin construction in late 2014 and open in 2016.
"We have a monumental year ahead of us, and the Hip Hop Hall of Fame wanted an agency with a proven track record that understands the depth and historical value of hip hop," said JT Thompson, HHHOF Chairman. "GlobalHue also has leveraged its multicultural influence to impact universal audiences, just like hip hop." The HHHOF Awards TV Show was co-executive produced by JT Thompson and Juanita "Dove" Williams of Dove Entertainment, and was originally broadcast in national syndication and on the BET cable network in the 1990s.
