Seabrook House Hosts "The Anonymous People" Screening

Tickets Selling Out Fast for the One Night Movie Event

SEABROOK, N.J., Jan. 6, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Seabrook House, the leading addiction treatment provider in South Jersey, is excited to host a local screening of recovery film, "The Anonymous People." The public is urged to purchase tickets quickly before they sell out.

"The Anonymous People" is a documentary film about the emerging new addiction recovery advocacy movement, which concerns the 23.5 million Americans living in long-term recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction. A screening of the independent film written and produced by Greg Williams is being hosted locally by Seabrook House. The screening with be held, Friday, January 10th, 2014 at the Blackwood Campus of Camden County Community College (200 College Drive, Blackwood New Jersey, 08012) at 6:00pm.

"There are millions people in sustained, long-term recovery, and no one knows about it," said Edward Diehl, President of Seabrook House. "The conversation about drug addiction needs to undergo a paradigm shift in focus, from obsessing about the problem to understanding the solution. 'The Anonymous People' places the focus on the people living in long-term recovery from addictions."

Proceeds benefit the Seabrook House Patient Care Fund, which helps patients who are committed to the standards of full recovery. The Fund matches money in order to assist those in need with completely treatment. Because of the Patient Care Fund, qualifying patients have continued to receive supplemental funds from the Seabrook House Foundation to help ensure that they have exceptional addiction treatment services for which Seabrook House is known and for which they deserve.
