New album on its way from former Israeli 'Survivor' star singer-actress


LOS ANGELES, Jan. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ - Israeli pop singer-actress Sivan
Gold, who appeared on "Survivor Israel" in 2007, is announcing she is
in development on her second album, "The Project of Sivan." The album
is expected to release in the summer of 2015 and have 12 tracks. It
will be recorded in Los Angeles and feature Gold collaborating with
songwriter Doron Gal, who wrote the Eurovision Song Contest finalist
hit "Find A Way" by Ran Sandler.



"The music in Israel is very different from here," Gold said. "I believe
I can find a way to fit the American market. The album is more about
love, relationships, all the normal stuff for a lady, which are
universal themes that translate in any language."



The album will have an eclectic blend of themes and instrumentation.
Some of its lyrics are already written and are being translated to have
a more American appeal. Gold, who is influenced by Alicia Keys, says
the first single from "The Project of Sivan" may release this summer.



"Sivan's innate gift for singing rivals even the most popular
entertainers in Israel at the moment," Gal said. "Her pitch is near
perfect, and her voice resonates with the listener's heart strings.
Because she is an actress too, once she gets on stage or into the
recording booth, she comes alive."



Gold's first album was "When Birds Fly" and she's performed live on TV
on Music Channel 24, Channel 10 and Channel 2 in Israel. She's
performed on Radio Tel Aviv, Radio FM, Radio Jerusalem, Radio Haife,
Radio South and at the Golda, Bialik and Zavta venues in Tel Aviv.



As an actress, she's appeared on the TV series "Michaela," "Lior
Shlien," "Katav Plili" and "Star Born." Gold's film credits include
"Love in the First Time," "First Time Doesn't Count," "The Street of
Yehiel," "Unavailable People" and "Kavod."



"The Project of Sivan" is expected to release on iMusic and on Orange
for mobile devices.
