Open from January 17(th) through the 25(th), the Airbnb Haus (#airbnbhaus) will bring together interesting and inspiring people and experiences, including a an open-mic StorySLAM evening with The Peabody-award winning organization, The Moth, and a midnight show from beloved NY comedian and sketch performer on "Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon", Seth Herzog with some very special guests, all within a space that pays homage to a comfortable and cozy lodge.
Located at 628 Park Ave just off of Main St, the Airbnb Haus will be fully equipped with the "comforts of home," including free Wi-Fi, a craft coffee bar, vintage board games, travel guides, sketchbooks and snacks, styled with a light, airy Scandinavian-inspired aesthetic. Working with local design firm WOW atelier, Airbnb transformed this former restaurant into a rustic yet modern communal lodge.
"Airbnb was founded by two designers renting out their living room -- our roots are pure creative hospitality. Since then, Airbnb has been home to filmmakers on shoots, musicians on tour, and allowed artists to make ends meet by sharing their space," said Amy Curtis-McIntyre, CMO, Airbnb. "Airbnb Haus at the Sundance Film Festival is a new way for us to connect with, and support, the creative community we believe in so deeply. It will be a privilege to offer the warm and inspiring hospitality that is uniquely Airbnb to the Festival participants this year."
