StarStream Entertainment Hits The Slopes At Sundance With Zombie Comedy "LIFE AFTER BETH" In U.S. Dramatic Competition

Featuring Aubrey Plaza, Dane DeHaan, Molly Shannon, John C. Reilly and Anna KendrickNEW YORK, Dec. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- StarStream Entertainment (OTCQB: SSET) will debut its zombie-filled comedy "LIFE AFTER BETH" at this year's prestigious Sundance Film Festival. It was announced earlier this month that the film had been selected from 12,218 submissions to premiere in the U.S. dramatic competition at the festival. Written and directed by Jeff Baena, the film stars Aubrey Plaza, Dane DeHaan, Anna Kendrick, Molly Shannon, John C. Reilly, Cheryl Hines, Paul Reiser and Matthew Gray Gubler.

The film tells the story of Zach who is devastated by the unexpected death of his girlfriend, Beth. When she miraculously comes back to life, he gets a second chance at love. Soon his whole world turns upside down.

"We're excited to be selected among all of the groundbreaking films submitted in this year's Sundance Film Festival," commented StarStream's CEO and co-founder Kim Leadford. "'LIFE AFTER BETH' is the epitome of the type of film SSE is attracted to: Cutting edge and thought provoking material, made by a brilliant filmmaker with an all-star comedic cast, made on a lean budget, with a strong probability of commercial success."

"LIFE AFTER BETH's" premiere follows a successful fall for StarStream Entertainment - its award winning film, "THE BUTLER" starring Forrest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey has taken in over $160,000,000 worldwide at the box-office since its release. Additionally, Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions acquired StarStream's Toronto International Film Festival closing night film "LIFE OF CRIME" starring Jennifer Aniston, Will Forte and Tim Robbins at the festival this year following a heated overnight bidding battle.

The film was financed and produced by StarStream Entertainment with Liz Destro and Michael Zakin serving as producers and Kim Leadford, Tim Nye and Charles Sauveur Bonan as Executive Producers.
