Six Theaters in Puerto Rico Bring DigiNext's Release to 114 Screens
WESTFIELD, N.J., Dec. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- A Miracle In Spanish Harlem (PG) will open for an exclusive one week engagement in Manhattan at the City Cinemas East 86(th) Street Theater on December 6, 2013, it was announced today by DigiNext, a joint distribution venture between Digiplex Destinations (NASDAQ CM: DCIN) and Nehst Media Enterprises. Screenvision is a distribution and promotional partner in the film's release.
On Thursday, December 5, the start of the local movie week, A Miracle in Spanish Harlem, which showcases several well-known Latino stars, including Kate del Castillo and Luis Antonio Ramos, will open at six Caribbean Cinemas locations in the cities of Bayamon, Carolina and San Juan in Puerto Rico.
DigiNext also announces two additional Texas locations, Premiere theaters in El Paso and Houston, have been added bringing the screen count for DigiNext's first feature film release to 114.
In A Miracle in Spanish Harlem, director and producer Derek Velez Partridge presents a tender story with a Latin flavor that deals with themes that are universal. It will engage audiences with laughter, tears and circumstances of human relationships that everyone can relate to.
