Award-Winning Actress Claire Danes Hosts the 20th Annual Star-studded Event Honoring the Nobel Prize Laureate Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW)

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Nobel Peace Prize Concert organizers announced today that AXS TV, a premier network for live entertainment, is the U.S. TV broadcast partner of the 20(th) annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway at the Oslo Spektrum arena. The International star-studded event will air Wed., Dec. 11 from 8-9:30 p.m. ET (5-6:30 p.m. PT) mere hours after the live broadcast in Oslo. Emmy® and Golden Globe® award-winning actress Claire Danes will serve as the host of the Concert that will feature some of today's most renowned artists such as Mary J. Blige, James Blunt, and hip hop duo Envy. In addition to the United States, the global entertainment event is being broadcast to over 100 countries.

This year's Nobel Peace Prize Concert will honor the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) "for its extensive efforts to eliminate chemical weapons." The award is given annually to an individual or organization whose work exemplifies a spirit of hope and leadership that will help promote peace in the world.
