Casio Awards Grand Prize to Winners of Dallas Songwriters Association Song Contest

Jay Gallagher and Rick Webster, Winners of the 23rd Annual Contest, Receive Privia PX-350 Digital Piano

DOVER, N.J., Sept. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Casio America, Inc. and the Dallas Songwriters Association awarded a digital piano to the two grand prize winners of the 23(rd) Dallas Songwriters Annual Song Contest. Jay Gallagher of Philadelphia, PA, and Rick Webster of Perth, Australia will receive Casio's Privia PX-350 digital piano. Every year, The Dallas Songwriters Association offers amateur songwriters from around the world the opportunity to share their music writing talents with industry professionals and compete to win over $5,000 in grand prizes.

The DSA 2013 Song Contest is one of the longest running international songwriting contests for amateur songwriters. Jay Gallagher of Philadelphia, PA, submitted multiple songs, and two of his songs were chosen as grand prize winners - Do You Believe and 3,2,1, which were submitted in the Pop/Rock/Alt/RnB category. Rick Webster of Perth, Australia's song Looking Glass was also chosen as a grand prize winner and was submitted in the Instrumental category. The digital piano that each winner will receive is the Privia PX-350.
