Celebrity Chef Emeril Lagasse Highlights Dining in South Walton, Florida

Shooting Begins for Season Two of "Emeril's Florida" on the Cooking Channel

SOUTH WALTON, Fla., Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse returned to South Walton, a destination of 16 upscale beach neighborhoods located on Northwest Florida's Gulf Coast, last week to begin filming the second season of "Emeril's Florida." Lagasse made multiple stops to some of travelers' favorite South Walton restaurants to enjoy the cuisine, the people and to experience what makes them so special.

The destination's diverse culinary community will be featured in three future episodes with nine total establishments highlighted throughout the series. Locations include South Walton's newest hotspot Havana Beach at The Pearl in Rosemary Beach, as well as V Seagrove, 723 Whiskey Bravo in Seagrove, Seaside's Airstream row of fun and funky food trucks, Restaurant Fire in South Walton's latest community addition Gulf Place, Crust Artisan Bakery in Santa Rosa Beach, Sandestin's Seagars Prime Steaks and Seafood, Marlin Grill and The Wine Bar at Grand Boulevard.

Lagasse visited the establishments to film interviews and tastings at each location. Additional production crews will visit again this fall to capture the beauty and style of South Walton for final production.

The season is scheduled to air in early 2014 featuring 13 restaurants in Northwest Florida, nine of which are located in South Walton. Season one of the series, which featured three different South Walton restaurants, originally aired on the Cooking Channel(TM) and is currently being debuted Thursdays on the Food Network®.
