The song includes lyrics from the legendary Emma Lazarus poem:

"Give me your tired, your poor,

Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free"

The poem is on a bronze plaque in the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty.

The music video features the Donny Stew Band along with an original animated Statue of Liberty singing and dancing to the song with a backdrop of 4(th) of July celebrations in the NY harbor.

By a twist of fate, Stew's NYC rehearsal studio below the West Beth Theatre in Greenwich Village was also flooded out during the Super Storm Sandy. "We lost everything. It took us till now to recover."
