First Look: Rihanna for River Island Autumn Collection

Global superstar and Fashion Icon Rihanna with the release of the Rihanna for River Island
Autumn Winter

Following on from the success of the SS13 Collection, the AW13 Collection further
reflects Rihanna's evolving distinctive style that is echoed by various style tribes
across the world.



The 80-piece collection incorporates a mix of urban sports lux with sophisticated
chic. With a strong emphasis on clean yet glamorous dressing and a nod to streamlined
sportswear.



Metallic, tartan, camouflage, floral, stripes, denim leathers and other high shine
fabrics like vinyl and wet look are used cohesively. Soft jersey maxi's, leather bra tops,
bomber jackets, camouflage over the knee women's boots

hoodies and underwear with a carefully put together colour palette balance the contrast of
hard and soft in the range.



Embossed leather jackets and trousers, printed camo snakeskin leather skirts and boots
make up the Limited Edition Collection of which only 100 of each item have been made.



Prices range from GBP10 for the 'Riri" Underwear to GBP200 for the embossed leather
jackets.



The autumn collection goes on sale on 12th of Sept, consists of the more sportier
elements of the collection, whilst the winter collection out in November, consists of the
more glamorous elements of the range, just in time for the party season. Both ranges will
be sold in selected River Island stores globally and online. As with SS13 both collections
will also be sold exclusively in the United States and Japan at Opening Ceremony.
