The operators are in commercial deployment with security partner Conax and middleware provider Cubiwarein a joint project led by system integrator Bold MSS to roll out the new, advanced OTT broadband services. The Hybrid OTT solution provides the Uruguay operators with a highly cost efficient and unique market differentiator for offering value-added services for the end consumer. The new Conax Security platform deployed for provisioning the Hybrid DVB-C/P solution will run in simulcrypt with a legacy security platform.

The revolutionary new platform will enable the operators to offer a unique consumer experience while adding new features and solutions, such as a bouquet of value-added, secure OTT services, VOD, Live TV, and multiscreen offerings for broadband-savvy consumers looking to take advantage of flexible content consumption.
