TORONTO, June 6, 2013 /CNW/ - CTV unveiled today an amazing 2013/14
primetime schedule featuring an unparalleled level of genre diversity,
timeslot strength, scheduling balance, and quality programming that
builds upon the strength of Canada's most-watched network. With more
returning hits than any other network, CTV has strategically selected
just four new big-buzz dramas, two new comedies, and one new unscripted
series for primetime this fall, joining what has become the most stable
schedule in North America. In addition to changes in daytime and adjustments to
late-night, CTV also announced today it has nabbed last season's
fastest-growing sophomore series PERSON OF INTEREST, adding an instant
Top 20 hit to its schedule. CTV's 2013/14 schedule will be presented by
Phil King, President, CTV Programming and Sports, at the #CTVUpfront
presentation today in Toronto.

"Year-after-year, CTV offers programming consistency and durability not
found anywhere else," said King. "It's tough to crack the CTV lineup,
but when programs do, they have the best chance of success on CTV.
We're very excited to bring a powerhouse lineup to viewers and
advertisers that features some of the most compelling programming
available."

Although CTV is scheduling the least amount of new programs compared to
any other Canadian network this fall, its refreshed schedule still
features new programming on every night of the week (Monday-Friday),
and in every timeslot (7-11 p.m.). In total, CTV's fall schedule
features 17.5 hours of simulcast programming weekly, more than any
other Canadian network.

CTV's new 2013/14 programs reflect an enviable pedigree of some of the
biggest names in entertainment, including Marvel Studios; producers
J.J. Abrams, Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Nolan, and Joss Whedon;
acclaimed actors Kirstie Alley, Toni Collette, Tate Donovan, Michael
Emerson, Clark Gregg, Marg Helgenberger, Josh Holloway, Dylan
McDermott, Christopher Meloni, and Bradley Whitford; hot newcomers
Robbie Amell, Jake McLaughlin, and Meghan Ory; and brands unto
themselves, Bethenny Frankel and Gordon Ramsay, among others.

As announced earlier today, CTV's entire new lineup will be available on the network's new TV
Everywhere platform CTV GO, scheduled to debut this fall. With CTV GO, viewers will be able to access a live stream of CTV's broadcast
channel and more premium on-demand programming than ever before.

CTV also announced today it is moving DANCING WITH THE STARS, THE VOICE (Tuesdays), THE X
FACTOR, AMERICAN IDOL, and UNDERCOVER BOSS to CTV Two this fall to
create an all-new, unique, complementary schedule for its companion
network.

CTV's 2013/14 lineup is strengthened by several key scheduling changes:

-- CTV delivers an all-new Tuesday night lineup starting with this
season's most buzzed-about program, MARVEL'S AGENTS OF
S.H.I.E.L.D. at 8 p.m., followed by two of the season's
most-talked about new comedies THE GOLDBERGS (9 p.m.) and

in her new self-titled comedy, KIRSTIE; MIXOLOGY,aserialized

office comedy SPUN OUT, featuring Dave Foley; and family comedy

paranormal drama THE TOMORROW PEOPLE. With ARROW now set to
immediately follow at 8 p.m., Wednesdays are now action-packed,
back-to-back, with hot lead cousins Robbie and Stephen Amell.

Once again, CTV celebrated another year full of big moments and bigger
audiences as Canada's favourite network. Anchored by Canada's #1
comedy, #1 drama, #1 reality series, #1 new series of the year, and
three of the Top 4 new programs, CTV gained momentum and increased its
primetime lead over its next closest competitor in all key demos, BBM Canada data confirms. With more Top 20 and Top 30 programs than all other networks combined,
CTV is the most-watched Canadian television network for the 12(th) year in a row.

In addition to continuing to be Canada's local news leader, CTV's
flagship CTV NATIONAL NEWS WITH LISA LAFLAMME continues its reign as the nation's #1 newscast, outperforming both
GLOBAL NATIONAL (+42%) and CBC's THE NATIONAL (+79%).

ETALK wraps up its highest-rated season to date with an average of 641,000
viewers, including audience growth in all key adult demos. The
country's most-watched and most-trusted entertainment show leads
ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT by 8% and ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT CANADA by 57%.

2013/14, including Canada's most-watched television broadcasts THE 86(th) ACADEMY AWARDS(®), SUPER BOWL XLVIII, THE 71(st) ANNUAL GOLDEN GLOBE(®) AWARDS, THE 65(th) PRIMETIME EMMY(®) AWARDS, THE 2013AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS, THE 2014 JUNO AWARDS, and more.

CTV's New 2013/14 Programs at a Glance (Click HERE for complete descriptions.)

Fall

BETHENNY - Hosted by the self-professed "Queen of Too Much Information," Bethenny
Frankel, BETHENNY covers everything from love and relationships, celebrities and pop
culture, to beauty and fitness. The daily afternoon talk show offers a
destination for women to learn, laugh, feel inspired, be transformed,
and ultimately, in Frankel's words, "always go for it."

THE GOLDBERGS - Before there were parenting blogs, trophies for showing up, or peanut
allergies, there were THE GOLDBERGS. For one geeky 11-year-old, these were his wonder years, and he faced
them armed with a video camera to capture all the crazy. THE GOLDBERGS stars Jeff Garlin and Wendi McLendon-Covey as the heads of a loving
family like any other, but with a lot more yelling.

HOSTAGES - From executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer, HOSTAGES is a high-octane suspense drama where Dr. Ellen Sanders (Toni
Collette), a premiere surgeon, is thrust into a chilling political
conspiracy when her family is taken hostage by rogue FBI Agent Duncan
Carlisle (Dylan McDermott). In this high-stakes standoff between Ellen
and Carlisle, fraught with tremendous national and personal
consequences, the choices between right and wrong become even more
blurred.

JUNIOR MASTERCHEF - A spin-off culinary competition series for talented kids between the
ages of 8 and 13 who love to cook, JUNIOR MASTERCHEF gives budding cooks the exciting opportunity to showcase their talent,
culinary smarts, and passion for food through a series of delicious
challenges and cook-offs.

MARVEL'S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. - Agent Phil Coulson (Greg Clark) assembles a small, highly select group
of agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as
S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the
unknown around the globe, protecting the ordinary from the
extraordinary.

PERSON OF INTEREST - Last season's fastest-growing sophomore series, thiscrime thriller features presumed-dead former CIA agent John Reese (Jim
Caviezel) and his partner, mysterious billionaire Harold Finch, as they
prevent violent crimes by using their own brand of vigilante
justice. Guided by "The Machine", the two work outside of the law to
unravel the mystery of the person of interest, and stop the crime
before it happens.

PLAYED -In CTV's newest drama, PLAYED, the CIU (Covert Investigations Unit) risks going undercover to
infiltrate and bring down criminal organizations. In this new style of
short-term, high-intensity undercover work, each covert "play" is
crafted quickly and executed at an even faster pace. Placed into
various worlds of crime without a safety net, the cops are in constant
danger, as they repeatedly go off the grid. Wearing wires, coaxing
confessions, and setting up stings, the cops of the CIU must think
quickly, talk smoothly, and rely on pure instinct. They slip in and out
of characters so often that, sometimes, they lose track of who they
really are.

THE SOCIAL - Hosted by a dynamic and influential group of co-hosts with distinct
points of view: news anchor Melissa Grelo, Canada's foremost gossip
blogger Lainey Lui, relationship expert Cynthia Loyst,
and entertainment reporter Traci Melchor, THE SOCIAL brings a fresh perspective on the up-to-the-minute pop culture and
lifestyle topics that matter most to Canadians. Providing an innovative
outlet for viewers who love a friendly debate through social media,
email, and text messaging - THE SOCIAL is smart, bold, advertiser-friendly, and the only program of its kind
on English Canadian conventional television.

THE TOMORROW PEOPLE - Stephen Jameson (Robbie Amell) starts hearing voices and teleporting in
his sleep, never knowing where he might wake up. In desperation, he
decides to listen to one of the voices in his head, which leads him to
his first encounter with the Tomorrow People, a genetically advanced
race with the abilities of telekinesis, teleportation, and telepathic
communication. Stephen sets out on a journey that could take him into
the shadowy past to uncover the truth about his father's mysterious
disappearance, or into an unknown future with the Tomorrow People.

TROPHY WIFE - They say the third time's the charm and reformed party girl Kate (Malin
Akerman) is hoping that's true when she becomes the third wife of Brad,
a slightly older man (Bradley Whitford). They fell into each other's
arms (literally) at a karaoke bar and, flash forward one year, Kate
finds herself with an insta-family complete with three stepchildren and
two ex-wives.

Mid-Season

BELIEVE - From Academy Award(®)-nominated director Alfonso Cuarón, BELIEVE is the story ofBo (Johnny Sequoyah) a young girl with gifts she has never fully been
able to understand or control. Raised by a small group known as the
"True Believers," the orphaned girl has been safeguarded from harmful
outsiders who would use her forces for personal gain. As she and her
protector Tate (Jake McLaughlin), a wrongfully imprisoned death row
inmate, travel from city to city, every place and person they come
across will be changed forever.

INTELLIGENCE - A dramatic thriller starring Josh Holloway as Gabriel, a high-tech
intelligence operative enhanced with a super-computer microchip in his
brain and an appetite for reckless, unpredictable behavior. Leading the
elite government cyber-security agency created to support him is
Director Lillian Strand (Marg Helgenberger), a straightforward and
efficient boss who oversees the unit's missions. Strand has assigned
Riley Neal (Megan Ory) is the Secret Service agent assigned to protect
him from outside threats. As the first supercomputer with a beating
heart, Gabriel is the most valuable piece of technology the country has
ever created.

KIRSTIE - A multi-cam comedy that follows Madison "Maddie" Banks (Kirstie Alley),
a Broadway star who finds her life turned upside down when the son she
gave up for adoption 26 years ago turns up looking to connect after his
adopted mother has died. KIRSTIE also stars comedy elite Rhea Perlman (CHEERS) and Michael Richards
(SEINFELD).

MASTERCHEF CANADA - The world's #1 culinary TV format comes to Canada. MASTERCHEF CANADA
provides an opportunity for Canadian amateur chefs to develop their
culinary skills as they compete for the MASTERCHEF CANADA title.
Following the traditional MASTERCHEF format, MASTERCHEF CANADA's
initial rounds consist of a number of hopefuls from across the country
individually "auditioning" by presenting a food dish to the judges to
gain one of the coveted semifinalist spots. Competitors must be true
amateurs who are in it for the love of food. The judges whittle down
the contestants through a number of individual and team-based cooking
challenges and weekly elimination rounds, until a winning MASTERCHEF is
crowned.

MIXOLOGY - This new, single-camera, serialized comedy series from the writers of The Hangover is set in one bar, one night, with ten single people. Across the course
of this one night - and the entire season - five guys meet five girls.
Will they find love? Will they find a warm bed for the night? Will they
find a cold drink in their face? All questions will be answered by the
season finale of this highly intoxicating new comedy.

SPUN OUT -In the multi-cam workplace comedy SPUN OUT, failed writer Beckett Ryan (Paul Campbell) joins DLPR, a public
relations agency staffed with people who can spin everyone's problems
but their own. From the eccentric company figurehead Dave (Dave Foley)
and his insecure daughter Stephanie (Rebecca Dalton), to PR shark
Nelson (Al Mukadam) and Dave's ever-loyal assistant Bryce (JP Manoux),
the DLPR office has no shortage of personality. No matter how bizarre
the cases are that the agency takes on, they pale in comparison to the
workplace romances, rivalries, personal successes, and often hilarious
failures of the close-knit and dysfunctional colleagues at DLPR

SURVIVING JACK - Set in 1990s Southern California, this sitcom is all about a man
becoming a dad, as his son is becoming a man, in a time before "coming
of age" was something you could Google. Jack Dunlevy (Christopher
Meloni) has always been the parent who's left for work early, come home
late, eaten the big piece of chicken, yelled at his kids, and gone to
bed. But after years of deftly raising and running the family, his wife
is going back to law school, leaving Jack as a full-time parent for the
very first time.
