Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes To Receive 2013 Bradley Prize For Outstanding Achievement
Recipients of Tenth Annual Prizes Announced
MILWAUKEE, May 14, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation announced today that one of the four 2013 Bradley Prizes will be awarded to Roger Ailes, the Chairman and CEO of FOX News.
The award will be presented to Mr. Ailes during the tenth annual Bradley Prizes ceremony that will be held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, June 12. Each award carries a stipend of $250,000.
From 1970-1992, Mr. Ailes operated Ailes Communications, Inc., a media advisory company that counted among its clients three U.S. Presidents, senators, governors, and Fortune 500 CEOs. In 1996, he launched FOX News Channel. Since 2002, it has been America's leading cable news source. In 2007, he oversaw the launch of FOX Business Network. Prior to FOX, Mr. Ailes was president of CNBC and quickly established that network as the leading television network for business news. He has produced several nationally syndicated television specials, including the Emmy Award-winning Television and the Presidency.

The selection was based on nominations solicited from more than 200 prominent individuals across the country and chosen by the Bradley Prizes Selection Committee.
