Extrema Brings Daring Line-up XO Live 2013

The complete program for XO Live, formerly Extrema Outdoor, has just been announced.
This year Extrema offers a strikingly daring, broad line-up boasting many live-shows,
exclusive artists and tomorrow's talents. Amongst others Justice, Knife Party, Major
Lazer, Nicky Romero, Dada Life, Sub Focus, Solomun and Duke Dumont grace the impressive
roster. Saturday, July 13 marks the 18th edition for Extrema Outdoor at Aquabest beach.



Exclusives



Some artists have again decided to give their only, exclusive Dutch performance at XO
Live this summer, like world famous Frenchmen Justice and also Knife Party. Likewise, the
spectacular live performances by Sub Focus and Modestep can only be experienced at XO
Live. Additionally, Dutch dance legend Joost van Bellen celebrates the 10 year anniversary
of his Rauw concept with a one-of-a-kind dj performance built around said anniversary.
Digitalism even opens the Quartz Arena with an opening show created especially for XO
Live.



Berlin tech house collective and record label Innervisions will helm a five hour block
with exclusive live and dj performances by label bosses Henrik Schwarz, Âme and Dixon,
amongst others supported by guitarists and singer/songwriter Ry. Also Dutch star Alain
Clark will be present with a one-off show together with soul singer Berget Lewis,
electronic music group Hardsoul and even a twelve piece gospel choir.



Live



XO Live focuses even more attention on live performances this year. Besides the
aforementioned artists, Eva Simons will take a break from her tour with pop diva Beyoncé
for her first ever performance at a dance festival. Techno duo Kollektiv Turmstrasse will
also be playing live, on the new indoor main stage, the 'Emerald Dome'. A new area for
deep, warm soulful house, tech house and techno by the likes of Solomun and Karotte. The
focus in the 'Quartz Arena' will be even more geared towards acts which feature rawer
styles of music and shows with plenty of visual extravaganza, like Knife Party, Sub Focus,
