WASHINGTON, April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Criminals aren't getting a rest thanks to Crowd Sourced Investigations, LLC (CSI, LLC). "After the Boston Marathon bombing, the irresponsible use of social media during the first 48 hours, before the facts were known, led to the misidentification of innocent persons as suspects. All of those sites were 100% wrong. This is how it should be done," said Morgan Wright, CEO and Chief Crime Fighter of CSI, LLC. "We partnered very closely with the Loudoun County, Va. Sheriff's Office, including Liz Mills, Director of Communications, Lt. Jaime Sanford and Detective Mack Halley, Criminal Investigations Division, to get the facts."

The Sheriff's Office asked Connected To The Case (C2C) to help locate Cleon Williams, wanted for Grand Larceny and Failure To Appear. Williams is a former police officer with a long history of crimes. Within 36 hours of the case going live, the tip that captured Williams was received.

"Law enforcement wanted Williams off the street" said Wright. "We've developed a way for law enforcement and the public to work together using Facebook. The misinformation that proliferated during the first 48 hours after the Boston bombing actually hampered the investigation. Our capability works from facts supplied by law enforcement and public records."
