TORONTO, April 23, 2013 /CNW/ - Match Game host and stand-up star DARRIN ROSE will hit the road in May on his second cross-country theatre tour
called STILL CHASING MANHOOD. In addition to hosting Match Game on the Comedy Network, ROSE plays Bill the bartender on the CBC sitcom Mr. D, and is a favourite on MuchMusic's Video On Trial.


STILL CHASING MANHOOD kicks off at the Roxy Theatre in Owen Sound on May 4 and continues in
Parry Sound, Victoria, Whistler, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Ottawa,
Fredericton and concludes on June 8 at the Ste Catherine Theatre in
Montreal, Quebec.



GQ magazine calls him "one of the hottest comedians in Canada right
now," and with good reason; he is a four-time Canadian Comedy Award
nominee - including Best Male Stand-Up in 2011 - and won a 2012
Canadian Screenwriting Award for Comedy. His ½ hour stand-up special on
CTV was nominated for a 2013 Canadian Screen Award for Best Performance
in a Variety or Sketch Comedy Program.


STILL CHASING MANHOOD will include new material about sibling rivalry, dating, his eccentric
mother, and struggling to live up to the idea of manhood created by his
burly father and brother.



His one-man show at the 2010 Edinburgh Comedy Festival received four
stars from Scotland's national newspaper The Scotsman who said: "This is one of the most articulate comics I've seen lately, with a
well-thought-out concept put across with pizzazz." He has wowed audiences in Las Vegas and England.
