Japan Film Society will host a business panel at LA EigaFest 2012, a film festival showcasing the latest blockbusters of the year in Japan.
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- 4 professionals in the field of bringing Japanese IP to Hollywood have been invited as panelists and will discuss about the current situation, the challenges, and most importantly, the opportunities in this area. LA EigaFest 2012 in presented in conjunction with the American Cinematheque.
"Eiga" which means "Film" in Japanese, was chosen to be included in the name of the film festival in hope that this would become an iconic Japanese-English term and a symbol of the world of Japanese cinema.
