Two episodes in FBR Media's new television series
Bench to Bedside(TM) have been nominated for three prestigious Emmy® AwardsWASHINGTON, Nov. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- FBR Media announced today two episodes from its new television series Bench to Bedside(TM) have been nominated for three 2012 Midsouth Emmy® Awards. "Liviya's Story" received two nominations in the documentary/cultural and director/program categories. "Laura's Story" received a nomination in the public affairs category. Executive producers Paul McKellips and Frankie Trull, producer/director Liz Hodge and director of photography/editor Steve Dorst are nominated. FBR Media has received seven Emmy® nominations for its Bench to Bedside(TM) TV series.

This episode features the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, the National Institutes of Health, the American Red Cross and the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League."Laura's Story" showcases cutting-edge diabetes research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, that could be a game-changer for the diabetes epidemic in the United States.
