WASHINGTON, Oct. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund will host its Third Annual National Law Enforcement Museum Gala at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center on Friday, October 12 at 6:30 p.m. The Gala will honor America's law enforcement officers with proceeds benefiting the National Law Enforcement Museum, which currently is under construction in Washington, DC and planned to open in early 2015.

The star-studded dinner is being chaired by Greg Brown, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Motorola Solutions, Inc., and emceed by Richard Belzer from Law & Order: SVU. The evening's Reel to Real theme will focus on that exhibit in the forthcoming Museum that will compare and contrast how law enforcement is depicted in movies and television to real-life policing.
