Interactive Tour Features Leadership Seminars, Technology Exhibits and Concerts to Promote Educational and Career Opportunities in the Army
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Army presents the 'What Makes You Strong' event series, which showcases the leadership training, education benefits and career opportunities available through the Army. The events include leadership seminars, concerts featuring national and local performers, and the Army Strength in Action Zone interactive exhibit. Music artists performing at the 'What Makes You Strong' concert series include Anthony Hamilton, Drumma Boy and Kinky. The Army has also enlisted support from U.S. Olympians, as well as influential community and business leaders, to join senior Army officers for the leadership seminars.
The concerts and leadership series will be supported with the Army Strength in Action Zone, featuring state of the art technology with opportunities for participants to interact with Army simulators and Soldiers. Attendees will experience the Strength to Soar Aviation Element flight simulator and the Strong Stage Confidence Course in a physical fitness challenge that will enable participants to test their mental and physical strength. The Strength in Action Zone gives participants a unique experience where they are able to see themselves react to very specific scenarios and interact with an Army soldier, providing an authentic perspective that can't be found elsewhere.
