CHARLOTTE - Staying true to the theme of modernizing the convention experience, the Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) announced Thursday that members of the television media will be able to broadcast up-to-the-minute live coverage from daily press briefings at the 2012 Democratic National Convention. The live broadcast opportunity accommodates the 24-hour news cycles of today's outlets and recognizes the unique demands of modern media.

Media who want to live-broadcast the daily briefings must supply their own cable and pay a one-time $2,000 cable run fee that will cover laying and removing of cable, this is required due to the logistics of the Convention Center feed.
